A film that, despite all it's obvious inspirations, was such an original film, not least one of the most important of the 1990s, spawning all kinds of replicas, inspirations and wannabe filmmakers. The celebration of junk food, bad hair and kitsch cool could never be told with as much fizz or energy as in Tarantino's second coming.
In the film's opening we meet Tim Roth and Amanda Plummer, deliberating in a diner about how no one ever sticks-up restaurants. "Bars, liquor stores, you'll get your head blown off stickin' up one of them! Roth says, in his south London twang. He has a point too. They decide to rob the place they're in. If only they knew of the consequences. In fact, if only ALL the characters knew what they were doing. Pulp Fiction is an endless show of people f'ing things up. John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson play a pair of 70s-hyperbole laden hit men. A similar set up to the previous scene has our protagonists talking about nothing in particular - burgers, pot, what they put on fries in Paris - then launching into a violent tirade among their now pursued yuppie friends, who obviously owe money to the two hit men's boss. It is a shocking switch of tone, one that works seamlessly, and sums up how well Tarantino and Avary can write. It also shows how violence is simply a way of life for these men. And with all this in mind, authenticity is still right at the back of your mind; Pulp Fiction is a movie about old movies, not real life. Everything from the blazing soundtrack to Jackson's hideously groovy afro to the incredibly simple story lines - a boxer throws a fight, but must get his father's watch back before the gangsters find it, a body must be dumped before the wife gets home, a woman OD's and must be resuscitated before the her husband (the boss) finds out - is a one huge jollification of everything trashy but cool.
And what of the now infamous cast that Tarantino so delicately hired to work his script? John Travolta has had so many revivals in his fluctuating career, but this role showed us such a new spin on the Travolta ball. He is great as the stoner hit-man, who gets himself in deep waters with the boss' woman, played by an equally impressive Uma Thurman, who nails the moll wife exquisitely - complete with 20s style hair and an irresistible underlying seduction. We all know what Bruce Willis is capable of when he puts his acting chops to the test, and able assistance is given by the likes Harvey Keitel, Christopher Walken (in one the movies' funniest scenes) and Tim Roth. But it is Samuel L. Jackson who walks away as the new star in Hollywood. With His explosive and dynamic turn as the fast talking, god-fearing partner-in-crime of Vincent Vega, Jules, he delivers most of the movie's many memorable lines, and epitomises the effortlessness of Tarantino cool: He is bold, funny, explicit and explosive. His lack of Oscar at that years' ceremony should have been filed under the human rights act.
A comic book of comedy with enough one-liners to keep the QT devotees annoyingly quoting until it may just seem a bit too good to be true, Pulp Fiction, even now - with all the time we've had to wrap it up and endure it's obvious imitators - still seems fresh. A film like no other, despite it's obvious homages to Godard, film-noir and blaxploitation. It's pretty easy to dismiss his work as violent trash, but yet look at the recipients of all the bad deeds in the film: the ones who "see the light" as it were are the ones who succeed, the ones who continue to fall foul to the bad ways of life are the ones who pay for it in the end (one such unlucky character ends up in a rather unenviable position between a redneck rapist and his gun toting partner. In the end, it is a very simple collection of stories about redemption, about people who get themselves in horrible, yet hilarious, situations and have to arduously dig themselves out. Its legacy is indisputable. Its value is priceless. You haven't seen anything until you see Pulp Fiction.

While the story for the first film was simple, the jokes were hit or miss, and the emotion could either be seen as emotional or not, depending on how people interpreted it, Trolls: World Tour cranked it up a million notches. World Tour includes humor that's bound to get a laugh out of somebody because the humor is entirely inspired by each of the characters strengths. The animation is beautiful, it's very fluid and smooth as well as colorful. The characters had some strong development. While Barb could've had a stronger reason as to why she does what she does, her reasons are understandable. Branch has some of the best development I've seen in a long time. I would love to see more from Poppy and Branch in the future with what this movie gave. Each of the artists were cast perfectly, even though Ozzy Osborne and J Balvin were given a little less screen time & lines than I thought. The message is amazing because not only is it relevant, but it's a stronger message indicating that we should accept differences, not unite everyone by commonality. The only real thing I didn't like about Trolls: World Tour is the pacing. Because it's 1 hour and 35 minutes, everything goes by at rapid speeds without letting the emotional moments really settle in and leave an impact on the audience experiencing the feels right along with the characters. While Trolls: World Tour isn't a perfect movie and could be better, it's an amazing movie and is a perfect step up for the trolls franchise & should hopefully allow some people to give the Trolls franchise a second chance.

El TECLADO es un periférico que consiste en un sistema de teclas, como las de una máquina de escribir, que te permite introducir datos a un ordenador o dispositivo digital. Cuando se presiona un caracter, envía una entrada cifrada al ordenador, que entonces muestra el caracter en la pantalla. El término teclado numérico se refiere al conjunto de teclas con números que hay en el lado derecho de algunos teclados (no a los números en la fila superior, sobre las letras).

Un teclado estándar se compone de cuatro partes:

• El teclado principal que es el que contiene la mayoría de las teclas, situado a la izquierda y abajo, y compuesto a su vez de cinco filas de teclas.
• La línea de teclas de función y especiales, situada arriba del todo del teclado
  El teclado de movimiento, compuesto por al menos 10 teclas (actualmente son normalmente 13), y situado a la derecha del teclado principal.
• El teclado numérico, al extremo derecho del teclado, compuesto habitualmente de 17 teclas.

Durante esta clase, en conjunto con parte de la anterior, se presento y trabajo con el mouse.

El MOUSE es una herramienta de uso casi continuo en la informática actual. Permite el manejo simple de la mayoría de los programas en la propia computadora y en los servicios a los que se accede mediante Internet. La posición en la pantalla se marca con una flecha, denominada cursor.

El mouse estándar consta de tres botones, denominados:
BOTÓN IZQUIERDO : Se utiliza para señalar, seleccionar, activar, etc. programas y procedimientos. A partir de Windows 98 puede ser configurado para que se activen carpetas y/o archivos mediante un solo clic.
BOTÓN DERECHO : Se utiliza para desplegar y habilitar diversos menús de acciones.
BOTÓN CENTRAL : Puede ser configurado para acciones específicas (que escapan al objetivo básico de este material).

OJO: Algunos modelos tienen sólo dos botones, denominados izquierdo y derecho.

Dentro de sus acciones, dos son básicas: clic y doble clic.
CLIC : Consiste en oprimir y soltar una vez un botón.
DOBLE CLIC: Consiste en oprimir y soltar dos veces seguidas un botón.

Durante esta clase, se estudiaron y cometaron los conceptos básicos tales como:

Informática: Es el termino resultante de la contracción de los vocablos INFORmación y autoMÁTICA. Se dice automática, por el uso de la Computadora (máquina) y otros dispositivos, y Racional, debido la intervención humana.

Computación: Es la disciplina que se encarga de la obtención de información mediante el procesamiento de datos. Procesamiento que se hace apoyado por máquinas de computo o computadores.

Hardware: Dispositivos físicos (electónicos); memoria (ROM,RAM), CPU, monitor, teclado, mouse, disco, MODEM, etc).

Software: Es la parte lógica-datos y programas- que dotan al equipo físico de la capacidad para realizar las tareas encomendadas (sistema operativos, compiladores, utilitarios, navegadores, etc).

Además concluimos que un sistema informático es el conjunto que resulta de la integración de cuatro elementos: HARDWARE, SOFTWARE, DATOS y PERSONAS; Y que estos componentes se relacionan, haciendo posible el procesamiento automático de los datos, a través de ordenadores, para producir información útil.

Junto con ver la Historia de la Informática, se estudiaron los distintos tipos de computadoras:

SUPERCOMPUTADORA, máquina sofisticada empleada para tareas que implican operaciones muy rápidas y complejas. Son los más poderosos y poseen varios procesadores. Se han utilizado en trabajo científico y militar, y hoy en día en los negocios.

MACROCOMPUTADORA O MAINFRAME, es la computadora más grande, con gran capacidad de almacenamiento y poder de procesamiento. Se utiliza para aplicaciones de gran tamaño o e carácter comercial científico o militar, en donde es necesario procesar grandes cantidades de información.

MINICOMPUTADORA, computadora de nivel mediano, como del tamaño de un escritorio, que a menudo se emplea en las universidades, fábricas o en laboratorios de investigación.

MICROCOMPUTADORA, es aquella que puede colocarse en un escritorio o portarse a distintas habitaciones (PC). Utilizados por lo general por n solo usuario. (Pcs, Workstation, etc.).

Otro punto analizado en clases, fueron los periféricos mas comunes entre los cuales encontramos:

DISQUETES Consiste en una Base de plástico recubierta por una fina capa de material magnetizable. Se clasifican según: Su Diámetro en, 5 1/4 ”, 3 1/2 ”, 8” y 11” Por su Densidad en, Alta Densidad (HD), Baja Densidad , y Doble Densidad (DD)
DISQUETERA Esta formada por el Motor de Giro, El Motor de Paso y la Cabeza Lectora/Escritora. Para leer y/o escribir información en el Disquete las cabezas lectoras/escritoras lo mantienen presionado mientras los motores giran, lo cual provoca el desgaste tanto de los disquetes como de las cabezas lectoras/escritoras.
DISCO DURO Consisten en una base metálica (por lo general aluminio), de 5” a 10”, sobre la cual hay una capa de material magnetizable.
CD- ROM (Compact Disk Read Only Memory) Actualmente existen los Discos WORM (Write Only Read Many - una sola escritura muchas lecturas)
UNIDAD DE CD - ROM La Unidad Escritora utiliza un láser de alto poder para laserizar agujeros en la superficie del Disco óptico. La unidad Lectora utiliza un detector que mide la energía reflejada en la superficie del disco, al apuntar sobre él un láser de bajo poder.
UNIDAD DE DVD Las siglas significan Disco Versatil Digital. Es un CD mas rápido y con mayor capacidad de almacenamiento. En esta tecnología encontramos DVD-Video y DVD-ROM. Se pretende incluir variaciones que se pueden grabar una vez (DVD-R) o muchas (DVD-RAM)
PENDRIVE Dispositivo de Almacenamiento Secundario, no volatil, velocidad de acceso superior al Disquete. Mayor confiabilidad ante daños de la información que el disquete.
MONITORES Los Monitores son Dispositivos de Salida, que permiten visualizar en forma interactiva, la interfaz gráfica resultante entre un usuario y el PC. Existen Monitores del Tipo: Monocromático y Color Según su tecnología, se clasifican principalmente en: Monitor CRT y LCD
TECLADO Dispone de un conjunto de teclas agrupadas en cuatro bloques, denominados alfabético, numérico, de control y teclas de función, de tal forma que pulsando cada una de ellas se transfiere su codificación a la computadora.
MOUSE Dispositivo de entrada de movimientos y ordenes de activación (click o dobleclick) se compone de una bola y sensores. El movimiento del mouse se mide por la rotación que produce en la Bola. Para ahorrar espacio, los computadores portátiles incorporan el TrackBalls.
IMPRESORA Dispositivo de Salida Permanente de Información en un soporte como Papel o Plástico (transparencias) Tipos: Impacto, Tinta y Láser.
ESCANER Dispositivo que transforma cualquier documento gráfico que este en papel o película, en un archivo de datos digitales......
